MAC Baseball Players of the Week (Feb. 26 - March 4)

The Metro Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 26 – March 4.

Alex Garcia of Cedar Valley College is the MAC Baseball Position Player of the Week. The sophomore first baseman from Grand Prairie, TX hit .750 with six hits in a conference series win. He had a home run, 7 RBIs and scored 3 runs in the series. For the week, he had 8 hits, 9 RBIs and 3 walks.

Doug Palmer of Brookhaven College is the MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore pitcher from Denton, TX picked up two wins last week. In 12 2/3 innings pitched, he only allowed one earned run on 7 hits with 21 strikeouts and only one walk.
