NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (March 19-25)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of March 19-25.

Joe Breaux of McLennan Community College is the NTJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week. The sophomore rightfielder from Tomball, TX had a .450 batting average for the week with a double, 3 home runs, 13 RBIs, 6 runs scored and 3 walks during the week. He went 2 for 4 with a triple, a home run and 5 RBIs in the Highlanders' 16-11 win over San Jacinto. Against Hill, he was 3 for 3 with a double, home run and 5 RBIs.

Jake Lyons of Weatherford College is the NTJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The freshman right-handed pitcher from Irving, TX had a 9-inning complete game win over Ranger. Lyons did not allow an earned run and only allowed 3 hits while striking out 11 without a walk in the win.
