WJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 9-15)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 9-15.

Drew Beck of Howard College is the WJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week. The sophomore third baseman from Canfield, OH went 11 of 14 (.785) from the plate last week with a double, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored.

Matteo Bocchi of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week. The sophomore right-hander from Parma, Italy was 1-0 last week. In 5 innings pitched, he only allowed 1 earned run on just 3 hits with 6 strikeouts and a walk.
