MAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 15-21)

The Metro Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 15-21.

Kelvin Volquez of Eastfield College is the MAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore third baseman from the Dominican Republic had a .500 batting average for the week with 2 doubles, a triple, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He also added 2 stolen bases.

Noah Lynch of Cedar Valley College is the MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Mansfield, TX went 1-0 last week, throwing a complete-game 9-inning shutout with 10 strikeouts and no walks in a win over North Lake.
