MAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 22-28)

The Metro Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 22-28.

Stormy Taylor of Richland College is the MAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman first baseman from Round Rock, TX hit .333 last week with a double, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He had 3 of those home runs in a 21-10 win on Friday, then came back the next day and hit another home run and a double.

Trevor Wiegel of Eastfield College is the MAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman right-hander from Crandall, TX went 1-0 last week. In 7 innings pitched, he did not allow a run while throwing a 1-hitter in a 19-0 win. He had 8 strikeouts in the win.
