NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (Feb. 5)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 27 – Feb. 2.

Brandon Holdren of Ranger College is the NTJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman second baseman from Mont Belvieu, TX had a .583 batting average for the week with a home run, 8 RBIs, 4 runs scored, 3 walks and 2 stolen bases while leading Ranger to a 4-0 start to the season.

Jose Suero of Ranger College is the NTJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from the Dominican Republic made one appearance last week and went 1-0. In 5 innings pitched, he did not allow an earned run or a hit and struck out 11 of the 18 batters he faced.
