NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (Feb. 12)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 3-9.

Tanner Goodwin of North Central Texas College is the NTJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore outfielder from Houston, TX went 13 for 15 (.867) during 5 games played last week. He had 4 doubles, a triple, a home run, 8 RBIs, 9 runs scored, a walk and 2 stolen bases.

Jase Embry of McLennan Community College is the NTJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore right-hander from Axtell, TX threw a 5-inning no-hitter in a 12-0 run-rule win over Alvin. He recorded 3 strikeouts while not allowing a hit.
