DAC Baseball Players of the Week (Feb. 19)

The Dallas Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 10-16.

Jose Castillo of Cedar Valley College is the DAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman outfielder from Dallas, TX was 7 of 16 from the plate (.438) for the week with a home run, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored.

Ryan Puyear of Eastfield College is the DAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Mesquite, TX did not allow an earned run in 7 innings in his lone appearance last week. He recorded 10 strikeouts and 2 walks and only gave up 4 hits in a complete-game shutout.
