WJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (March 12)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of March 3-9.

Rody Barker of New Mexico Junior College is the WJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore catcher from Kerrville, TX had a .714 batting average for the week with 4 home runs, 7 RBIs, 4 runs scored, 5 walks and a stolen base. He hit two home run in one inning against El Paso CC.

Connor Carlton of Odessa College is the WJCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Abilene went 1-0 last week. He pitched 5 innings in his one appearance, allowing no earned runs and just 2 hits with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk.
