NTJCAC Baseball Players of the Week (April 16)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Baseball Players of the Week for the week of April 7-13.

Conner Emmet of Weatherford College is the NTJCAC Baseball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore outfielder from Colleyville, TX had a .737 batting average for the week with 3 doubles, a home run, 10 RBIs, 3 walks and 9 runs scored.

Carlos Tavera of Weatherford College and Trevis Sundgren of Weatherford College are the Co-NTJCAC Baseball Pitchers of the Week.

Tavera, a sophomore righthander from Fort Worth, TX went 1-0 last week. In 7 innings pitched, he did not allow an earned run while only allowing 3 hits with 9 strikeouts and 2 walks.

Sundgren, a sophomore righthander from Silsbee, TX picked up a win in his only appearance. In 7 innings pitched, he did not allow an earned run, only allowed 3 hits, and recorded 8 strikeouts with 1 walk.
