Ulloa named WJCAC Baseball Player of the Week

Gethse Ulloa of El Paso Community College was selected as the Western Junior College Athletic Conference's Baseball Player of the Week.

A freshman right-hander from Cuidad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, Ullloa was named the WJCAC Pitcher of the Week. En route to leading the Tejanos to a key win, he fanned 10 batters while tossing a 2-hitter. Overall, he allowed just three opponents to reach base.

The WJCAC did not select a Position Player of the Week.
