Jordy Oriach of Frank Phillips College is the WJCAC Baseball Player of the Week
Jordy Oriach of Frank Phillips College was named the Western Junior College Athletic Conference's Baseball Player of the Week.
A sophomore outfielder from Haverhill, Massachusetts, he earned the WJCAC Position Player of the Week honors after batting .588 with a double, a triple and 5 home runs. He finished the week with 15 RBI – increasing his season total to 77. For the year, he has clubbed 18 homers. He also scored 7 runs for the Plainsmen during the week and drew two walks.
The WJCAC did not select a Pitcher of the Week.
