Highlanders finish sixth at Southwest Championship

The McLennan Highlanders shot 292-292-283 – 867 to finish in sixth place at the Southwest District Championship at The Legends Golf Course in Kingsland, Texas.

New Mexico finished in first place with 284-285-273 – 842, followed by Odessa in second with 279-297-274 – 844 and Midland in third with 286-282-277 – 845.

Harvey Denham shot 66-75-68 – 209 to lead the Highlanders, finishing tied for sixth and earning All-Tournament honors.
