Region V Men's Basketball Players of the Week (Jan. 14-20)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 14-20.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Sasa Vuksanvic of McLennan Community College.

The 6-9 forward from Novi Sad, Serbia led the Highlanders with 17 points and added 6 rebounds and 2 assists in a win over Southwestern Christian College.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is LJ Figueroa of Odessa College.

The 6-5 freshman guard from Lawrence, MA had a game-high 27 points against Howard College as the Wranglers went 2-0 last week. He finished the week with 45 points, 14 rebounds and 8 assists.

The Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week is JJ Murray of Eastfield College.

The 6-1 sophomore guard from Rowlett, TX had 37 points, 16 rebounds and 12 assists in two games played last week.
