Region V Men's Basketball Players of the Week (Feb. 4-10)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 4-10.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Jeremy Hayes of Howard College.

The 6-2 sophomore guard from Baton Rouge, LA played in two games last week and scored 48 points with 19 rebounds and 7 assists in those two wins. He had a double-double versus South Plains College.

The Metro Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Anthony McGee of Eastfield College.

The 6-0 freshman guard from Mesquite, TX finished the week with 49 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in a pair of games played. He was 17 of 29 from the field and hit 9 three-pointers.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference did not receive any nominations this week.
