North Lake wins Region V title

North Lake College defeated the nationally ranked Eastfield Harvesters 88-76 in the Region 5 District 3 NJCAA Basketball Championship Monday.

North Lake will advance to the National tournament in New York to defend its 2017 National Championship.

Eastfield won the Metro Athletic Conference regular-season title, but North Lake won the MAC Tournament. So the two teams played a tiebreaker to decide the Region V champion.
