Region V Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Feb. 18-24)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 18-24.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Xavier Armstead of McLennan Community College.

The 6-5 freshman guard from Waco, TX scored a career-high 26 points in the Highlanders' win over Collin, then set a new career high with 27 points in a win over Temple.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference and Metro Athletic Conference did not have a Player of the Week this week.
