Region V Men's Basketball Player of the Week (Nov. 20)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 11-17.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Xavier Johnson of Hill College.

The 5-10 sophomore guard from Minneapolis, MN had 52 points in 2 games played last week. He was 16 of 24 from the field, 10 of 17 from 3-point range and a perfect 10 of 10 from the free throw line.

The Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Rashaun Coleman of Eastfield College.

The 5-10 sophomore guard from Houston, TX had 96 points in 5 games played last week. He averaged a double-double with 19.2 points per game and 10.6 assists per game. He also finished the week with 19 rebounds and 14 steals. He was 41 of 68 from the field.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference will not select a player of the week until conference play begins.
