Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 10-16.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Lorenzo Anderson of McLennan Community College.

The 6-3 sophomore guard from Atlanta, GA finished the week scoring 51 points with 5 assists and 5 steals. He shot better than 50 percent from the field and was 11 of 14 from the free-throw line.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Darius Mickens of Western Texas College.

The 6-3 sophomore guard from Willis, TX averaged 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4.3 assists last week. He had 21 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists in an 81-80 win over McLennan.

The Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Rashad Perkins of Richland College.

The 6-2 sophomore guard from Houston, TX had 17 points and 6 rebounds in a 78-50 win at NJCAA D1 Paris JC. He had 38 points, 10 Rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 1 block against NJCAA D3 fifth-ranked Prince George in a 76-53 win. For the week, he had averages of 20.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists with 84% from the FT line. Richland was 3-0 on the week.
