Region V Men's Basketball Players of the Week (Jan. 28)

Region V has announced the Men's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 19-25.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Chris Pryor of McLennan Community College.

The 5-11 freshman guard from DeSoto, TX averaged 14.6 points and 4.0 assists for the week. In three games, he also had 10 rebounds and shot 60 percent on 3-pointers.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Tauriawn Knight of Odessa College.

The 6-1 sophomore guard from Oklahoma City, OK guided the Wranglers to a pair of wins last week, averaging 18.5 points and 3.0 assists. He went 12 of 19 from the field.

The Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Rashad Perkins of Eastfield College.

The 6-2 sophomore guard from Houston, TX averaged 19.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a pair of conference wins last week. He also had 3 steals and a blocked shot.
