(Story by Odessa American)
Vetle Maroy led the charge for Odessa College's school-record, 43-under-par performance to win the High Country Shootout at the Links at Sierra Blanca.
Maroy supplied a 14-under-par 202 to win the individual title for the second straight year in a row on Monday. The Wranglers posted a team total of 821.
The Wranglers grabbed four of the top eight spots. However, OC's Dustin Lewis' runner-up total of 204 didn't count toward the team score. The Wranglers edged Midland College by six strokes, while Western Texas College rounded out the top three with a total of 839 strokes.
OC's Adam Blomme finished in a tie for sixth with a total 206. Connor Bjugstad followed in eighth (207). Augustin Hole placed in a tie for 13th (212).
