WJCAC Men's Golf Player of the Week (April 11-17)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) has announced the Men's Golf Player of the Week for the week of April 11-17.

Florian Moosmeier of Odessa College is the WJCAC Men's Golfer of the Week.

The freshman from Germany led the Odessa College Wranglers to the 2018 NJCAA District 2 Championship at Texas Tech University's Rawls Course in Lubbock with an impressive score of 212 (-4) in adverse conditions (25+ mph winds). Moosmeier recorded the lowest round of the tournament during the first round with an impressive 67 (-5) and continued his solid play the rest of the way. Odessa College outlasted four teams ranked in the Top 10 nationally to claim the victory.
