Highlanders No. 4 in Bushnell/Golfweek Coaches Poll

The McLennan men's golf squad climbed two spots to fourth in the latest Bushnell/Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll. The Highlanders received 45 points in the voting, including one first-place vote.

Defending national champion Indian Hills (Iowa) remains in the top spot with 66 points. Midland (Texas) moved up one spot to  second with 56 points, and Hutchinson (Kansas) moved into third with 49 points, up two spots from fifth.

McLennan and Midland compete in NJCAA Southwest District 2. Other district competitors in the rankings include: New Mexico, fifth, 36 points; Odessa, sixth, 35 points; Ranger, eighth, 19 points; and Western Texas, tied for ninth, 17 points. Blinn and Weatherford are receiving votes.
