Highlanders finish tied for eighth in final fall tournament

The McLennan Highlanders finished tied for eighth place with 303-302-303 – 908 following the opening day of the Paul Chavez Invitational hosted by Odessa College.
 
Host Odessa finished in first place with 292-290-291 – 873, followed by New Mexico A in second with 291-295-297 – 883 and Midland in third with 301-291-294 – 886.
 
Nik Blalock shot 75-72-73 – 220 to lead McLennan and finish in seventh place.
