WJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 8-14)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 8-14.

Danae Villarreal of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore first baseman from Sierra Vista, AZ hit. 750 last week with 4 doubles, 1 home run, 13 RBIs and 4 runs scored. She was also walked 5 times.

Brittany Kennett of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from Melbourne, Australia made 2 appearances last week, going 1-1. In 13 innings, she allowed 3 earned runs on 14 hits with 15 strikeouts and only 3 walks.
