WJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 15-21)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 15-21.

Regina Garza of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman outfielder from Natalia, TX went 7 of 9 (.778) at the plate with 4 RBIs, 10 runs scored, 5 walks and 7 stolen bases.

Dezire Garcia of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Oxnard, CA went 2-0 last week. In 10 innings pitched, she did not allow an earned run and only gave up 4 hits while striking out 14.
