Temple wins Region V North Softball Tourney

The Region V North Softball Tournament came down to the "if" game Monday with Temple College claiming the championship.

McLennan fought their way through the loser's bracket to make it to the championship game. They beat undefeated Temple 2-0 in the first championship matchup. Since both teams only had one loss, they played the "if" game with Temple coming out on top, 11-3.

Temple now moves on to the NJCAA National Tournament in St. George, Utah.
