NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week (Feb. 5)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 27 – Feb. 2.

Stephanie Jimenez of Weatherford College is the NTJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman third baseman from Huntington Park, CA had a .684 batting average for the week with 3 doubles, 1 home run, 9 RBIs, 5 runs scored, 2 walks and a stolen base.

Emily Klanika of McLennan Community College is the NTJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from Pflugerville went 3-0 last week, picking up shut out wins at Odessa and Howard. In a four-day span, she pitched 17 shutout innings and allowed just 12 hits with 24 strikeouts and 7 walks.
