WJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 16)
The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 7-13.
Sierra Wooley of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.
The sophomore outfielder from Houston, TX had a .714 batting average for the week with a double and a run scored. She went 5 for 7 at the plate against Odessa College with a OBP of .775 and a slugging percentage of .857.
Dyani Cummings-Lani of Luna Community College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.
The pitcher from Waimanalo, HI went 1-0 last week. In 5 innings pitched, she allowed just 1 earned run on 2 hits with 2 strikeouts. She also hit .555 at the plate with 4 doubles, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored.
