WJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 23)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 14-20.

Savannah Flinn of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The sophomore third baseman from Beaumont, CA went 11 of 20 at the plate (.550) with a double, 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and 8 runs scored for the week.

Cori Turner of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman righthander from Georgetown, TX went 3-0 last week. In four appearances and 16 1/3 innings pitched, she allowed just 3 earned runs on 13 hits with 10 strikeouts and 2 walks.
