NTJCAC Softball Players of the Week (April 23)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 14-20.

Savanna Parker of Temple College is the NTJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman catcher from Splendora, TX had a .750 batting average for the week with 8 doubles, a triple, 10 RBIs and 15 runs scored. She went 5-7 against Cisco with 2 doubles, 5 for 6 against Weatherford with 4 doubles, and 5 for 7 against Vernon with 2 doubles and a triple.

Breanna Hernandez of Temple College is the NTJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from Round Rock, TX went 3-0 last week. In 17 innings pitched, she allowed just 6 earned runs on 18 hits with 21 strikeouts and 6 walks. She threw 3 complete games to pick up the 3 wins.
