WJCAC Softball Players of the Week (May 7)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Softball Players of the Week for the week of April 28 – May 4.

Becca Duran of Odessa College is the WJCAC Softball Position Player of the Week.

The freshman shortstop from Austin, TX hit .833 for the week with 2 doubles, a triple, 5 home runs, 12 RBIs, 9 runs scored, 3 walks and 3 stolen bases. She hit for the cycle in one game, and hit 3 home runs in another game.

Morgan Stevenson of Clarendon College is the WJCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

The freshman from Midlothian, TX went 2-0 last week. In 11 innings pitched, she did not allow an earned run and only gave up 3 hits.
