Region V Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Nov. 6)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 28 – Nov. 3.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Makayla Gatewood of Temple College.

The 5-10 sophomore forward from Killeen, TX had 42 points, 27 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in 2 games played last week, leading Temple to a 2-0 record. She shot 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free throw line.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference will not select a player of the week until conference play begins.
