Region V Women's Basketball Player of the Week (Dec. 4)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 25 – Dec. 1.

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Jade Compton of Hill College.

The 5-10 sophomore wing from Garland, TX averaged a double-double for the week with 13.7 points and 10 rebounds per game. In Hill's three games last week, she scored 41 points, had 30 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Against Paul Quinn, she had 13 points and 19 rebounds. She was 15 of 27 from the field for the week.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference did not receive any nominations for Player of the Week.
