Region V Women's Basketball Players of the Week (Feb. 26)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 17-23.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Meakeyleetrieceiavia "KeeKee" Nowlin of McLennan Community College.

The 5-10 sophomore guard from Bryan, TX scored 52 points in two games last week including a career-high 31 points against Grayson.  She also had 14 assists and 11 rebounds. She shot 17 of 34 from the field and 14 of 18 from the free-throw line.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Ogechi Nwodo of Midland College.

The 6-2 sophomore post from Spring, TX had a double-double against Western Texas with 16 points and 15 rebounds while shooting 46 percent from the field. She also blocked 3 shots.
