Region V Women's Basketball Player of the Week (March 5)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 24 – Mar. 2.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Trinity Ramirez of Frank Phillips College.

The 5-8 freshman guard from Tulia, TX led the Lady Plainsmen to a pair of victories by averaging 24 points and 6 rebounds last week. She hit seven 3-pointers in two games played and was 13 of 14 from the free-throw line.

There were no nominations for Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week this week.
