Region V Women's Basketball Players of the Week (Nov. 5)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 27 – Nov. 2.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Alexys Grice of Frank Phillips College.

The 5-9 freshman guard from College Station, TX averaged 23.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. She also added 5 assists in 5 steals in two games.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Bre'Asiajah Mathews of Ranger College.

The 6-0 sophomore forward from Garland, TX had 35 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in a win over Mountain View. She was 14 of 18 from the field and 5 of 6 on 3-pointers.
