Region V Women's Basketball Players of the Week (Nov. 26)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Nov. 17-23.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Makayla Escue of Midland College.

The 6-2 freshman post from Levelland, TX averaged 12 points and 7 rebounds per game last week while shooting 45 percent from the field in leading the Lady Chaps to wins over two of the top teams in the nation.

The Northern Texas Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Tailor Broussard of Grayson College.

The 6-0 freshman forward from Denison, TX recorded a triple-double last week with 20 points, 14 rebounds and 10 blocked shots for the Lady Vikings. She also added 3 steals.
