Region V Women's Basketball Players of the Week (March 3)

Region V has announced the Women's Basketball Players of the Week for the week of Feb. 23-29.

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference Player of the Week is Ella Tofaeono of Midland College.

The 6-3 sophomore post from Sydney, Australia averaged a double-double again this week with 19 points and 13 rebounds per game. She shot 58 percent from the field and helped Midland defeat No. 9 ranked NMJC.
