NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 1-7.

Richland College forward Jessica Dowse is the Division III player of the Week for Region V. Dowse, a sophomore from Mesquite, TX, had 3 goals on 9 shots last week. She also added an assist. In a 3-1 win over No. 8 ranked Richland, she had a goal and an assist. In a 3-1 win over Brookhaven, she tallied 2 goals including the game-winner.
