DAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Sept. 25)

NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 16-22.

Brookhaven College midfielder Tatiana Garcia is the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Garcia, a freshman from McKinney, TX had 3 goals and an assist in two matches played last week, starting with a game-winning goal scored directly from a corner kick in a 2-0 win against North Lake College. She ended the game with 4 shots, 2 on target and 1 goal. Garcia would then have her best game with 2 goals and 1 assist against Eastfield College. Tatiana scored 2 goals in the space of a minute and also contributed an assist in the 6-1 victory. She ended the game with 5 shots, all on target, and 1 assist. Her overall tally for the week was 9 shots, 7 on target, 3 goals and 1 assist.
