DAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Oct. 9)

NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 30 – Oct. 6.

Brookhaven College forward Savanna Hernandez is the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Hernandez, a sophomore from Mesquite, TX had an awesome week of soccer by leading the Brookhaven forward line to keep the Lady Bears unbeaten in conference with wins over Mountain View College and North Lake College. Savanna scored the opening goal in a hard fought win over Mountain View and ended the game with 4 shots with 3 on target. She then followed up her fine form with 6 shots, 4 on goal, 2 goals and 2 assists in the victory over North Lake. Savanna ended the week with 10 shots (7 on goal), 2 goals and 2 assists.
