DAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Oct. 16)

NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 7-13.

Brookhaven College goalkeeper Gaby Roa is the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

Roa, a sophomore from Mesquite, TX helped her team to a 10-0 shutout win over Eastfield. She has been in top form in the Brookhaven goal and she is one of the main reasons why the Lady Bears have one of the best defensive records in the conference. Gaby's leadership and knowledge of the game has also helped Brookhaven to be ranked #2 in the national polls.
