DAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Sept. 24)

NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 15-21.

Brookhaven College forward Victoria Sifuentes is the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The freshman forward from Carrollton, TX was the Lady Bears' player of the game with her relentless attacks against No. 1 ranked and undefeated Richland College. She would be rewarded with her forward runs in the 13th minute when she got on the end of Kyndle Brewer cross from the right flank and smashed the ball into the roof of the net. It was a very intense game that would take a moment of magic to get the winner. That moment would come in the 105th minute of overtime when Tori calmly received a floated through ball, left the defender in her wake and slotted the ball home with a clinical finish. Tori ended the game with 5 shots, 2 on target and 2 goals in helping hand Richland their first loss.
