DAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week (Oct. 15)

NJCAA Region V has announced the Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12.

Brookhaven College forward Kelsey Vickery is the Dallas Athletic Conference Player of the Week.

The freshman from Frisco, TX had her best week in a Brookhaven jersey by going on a goal-scoring feast in conference play. She was nonstop in her attacking against Cedar Valley and she rewarded herself with 6 goals and 1 assist. In her next game against Mountain View, she scored the game winner with a powerfully-headed goal to avenge Brookhaven's only blemish on their record and help the Lady Bears win the DAC title with one game to spare. Kelsey ended the week with 17 shots, 11 on goal, 7 goals and 1 assist.
