Brookhaven wins Region V women's soccer championship

The Brookhaven Bears Women's Soccer Team won the Region 5 Tournament with a hard fought 1-0 victory over defending National Champion Richland College Monday.

Brookhaven has qualified for the NJCAA Division III National Tournament Nov. 13-17 in Dryden, New York from the Central Plains District.

The Lady Bears won the National Championship in 2017.
