NTJCAC Volleyball Players of the Week (Oct. 8)

The North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Sept. 29 – Oct. 5.

North Central Texas College outside hitter Malley Morris is the NTJCAC Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.

The 5-9 freshman from Frisco, TX recorded 27 kills and 16 digs in 7 sets played last week. She scored double digits in a win over Tyler, then had a double-double night against Ranger with 12 kills and 12 digs while hitting at a .303 efficiency.

Hill College libero Danyella Longoria and North Central Texas College middle blocker Jordan Babcock are the NTJCAC Volleyball Co-Defensive Players of the Week.

Longoria, a 5-6 sophomore from New Braunfels, TX, had 17 digs, 4 assists and an ace in 4 sets played last week.

Babcock, a 6-0 sophomore from Paradise, TX, recorded 9 blocks in a three-set win over Ranger, while also pitching in 3 digs. She had 20 kills for the week with a hitting percentage of .440.
