DAC Volleyball Player of the Week (Oct. 15)

The Dallas Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12.

Eastfield College middle blocker Courtanae Calhoun is the DAC Player of the Week.

The 6-3 sophomore from Dallas, TX had 37 kills (3.1 Kills per set) and had an attack percentage of .324 for the week. She had 10 total blocks and scored 43.5 points and averaged 3.6 points per set. She was the match leader in kills with 13 kills against North Lake College, she was the match leader in kills with 10 kills against Seminole State College, and she was tied as the match leader in kills with 13 kills against Brookhaven College. Courtanae was the match leader in blocks with 3.5 blocks against Brookhaven College. Against Brookhaven College she had 13 kills and hit a phenomenal 348 and against North Lake College she also had 13 kills and hit 222.
