DAC Volleyball Player of the Week (Oct. 22)

The Dallas Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19.

Eastfield College setter Abby Hairell is the DAC Player of the Week.

The 5-8 freshman from Tomball, TX had one double-double last week (37 assists - 10 digs). Against two NJCAA Division III teams, Abby had 72 assists (12.0 assists per set) and 19 digs (3.2 digs per set). She was the assist leader in both matches with 35 assists against Mountain View College and 37 assists against Cedar Valley College. She had 5 service aces (0.8 aces per set) with no missed serves and added 3 blocks last week. Abby guided the offense to an incredible 14.3 kills per set last and to hit a very impressive .191 (86 kills, 43 errors on 225 attempts) in the two straight set victories last week.
