WJCAC Volleyball Players of the Week (Oct. 29)

The Western Junior College Athletic Conference has announced the Volleyball Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 20-26.

New Mexico Military Institute opposite hitter Gabriela Langi is the WJCAC Offensive Player of the Week.

The 5-10 sophomore from Roswell, NM led the Broncos in total kills and attack percentage this week during two wins versus conference opponents. She knocked down 22 kills for the Institute with just four errors on 37 attempts, good for a .486 attack percentage. She also picked up eight digs and seven block assists.

New Mexico Military Institute libero Hula Crisostomo is the WJCAC Defensive Player of the Week.

The 5-1 sophomore from Honolulu, HI had 45 digs in 6 sets played last week, averaging 7.5 digs per set in two conference wins. She sits atop the NJCAA leaderboard in total digs with 709.
